3. Placing an Order

3.1. When you place an order through our checkout, you are making an offer to purchase our services. 3.2. Order acceptance occurs when we send you an email confirmation containing your order details. At this point, a legally binding contract is formed between us. 3.3. We reserve the right to decline an order for any reason, including but not limited to the unavailability of skips, pricing errors, or issues with payment authorisation.

4. Pricing and Payments

4.1. All prices displayed on our Website are in Pound Sterling (GBP) and include/exclude VAT at the current applicable rate unless explicitly stated otherwise. 4.2. Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering. We securely process payments via our designated payment processors. 4.3. Any additional charges incurred during the service (e.g., extended hire periods, overweight limits, or prohibited items) will be invoiced separately and must be paid in accordance with the terms on the invoice.

5. Delivery and Collection

5.1. We will make every effort to deliver and collect skips on the dates specified in your order. However, delivery times are estimates and time shall not be “of the essence.” 5.2. It is your responsibility to ensure our delivery vehicles have safe, adequate access to the drop-off location. 5.3. If our driver cannot safely deliver or collect the skip due to access issues, obstructions, or unsuitability of the ground, we reserve the right to charge a wasted journey fee.

6. Skip Hire Specific Terms (User Responsibilities)

6.1. Permits: If a skip is to be placed on a public highway or pavement, a permit from the local authority is legally required. We will arrange this permit on your behalf for an additional fee when you checkout. It is entirely your responsibility to ensure this permit is in place. 6.2. Fill Limits: Skips must not be overloaded. Waste must not exceed the walls of the skip (a “level load”) to ensure safe transportation. We reserve the right to refuse collection or charge an overload fee if this rule is violated. 6.3. Restricted Materials: Certain items are strictly prohibited from being placed in general waste skips, including but not limited to: asbestos, tyres, fridges/freezers, batteries, paints, solvents, medical waste, and plasterboard. Placing prohibited items in our skips may result in heavy contamination fines. 6.4. Care of Equipment: Once delivered, you are responsible for the skip until it is collected. Any damage caused to the skip (such as fires) will be charged back to you.

7. Expedited Services, Cancellations and Refunds

7.1. Next-Day Delivery & Rapid Service: Due to the nature of our business, our standard operations involve rapid, next-day skip despatch. 7.2. By placing an order for next-day or rapid delivery, you explicitly request and consent to us beginning the provision of our services within the standard 14-day statutory cancellation period (under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013). 7.3. Cancellations Before Despatch: If you need to cancel your order, you must do so immediately by telephone. If the cancellation is made and acknowledged by us before the skip leaves our depot, a full refund will be processed. 7.4. Cancellations After Despatch: If you cancel the order after the vehicle has been despatched, or if you turn the driver away upon arrival, you are legally liable for the reasonable costs we have incurred. In these instances, a standard “Wasted Journey Fee” will be deducted from your refund to cover transport and driver costs. Once the skip has been successfully delivered to your site, the primary service has been performed.

8. Liability

8.1. We will not be liable for any damage caused to your property, driveways, or underground services (e.g., manhole covers) resulting from the weight of our vehicles or skips, provided our drivers have acted with standard care. It is your responsibility to ensure the surface can withstand the weight. 8.2. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. 8.3. To the extent permitted by UK law, our total liability for any claim arising out of this contract shall not exceed the total price paid by you for the specific service.
